Here you can see an original Silesian calendar with our miners posing and pictures by our famous naive painter, Erwin Sowka in the background, which creates a really fascinating mixture! You can’t buy it, unfortunately, it’s limited special edition. You can read the article there (in Polish) and there is a link to another article about Sowka, who is just having his exhibition in the very center of Katowice, at „Rondo Sztuki“ (The Artistic Roundabout). He is the last one from the famous „Janow group“ of miners painting mystic pictures.
